Senior Site Reliability Engineer
- Hybrid role: 3 days in-office, 2 days remote (Sydney-based)
- Salary up to $180,000 + Super

WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING?
You’ll be responsible for managing production support and ensuring optimal system uptime for critical platforms and interfaces. The role includes emergency response to incidents, conducting root cause analysis, and implementing automation to create scalable systems. You’ll also collaborate with software engineering teams to uplift services, design systems, and plan for capacity growth, ensuring reliability and performance at every stage.
WE NEED YOU TO HAVE…
• Strong background in software engineering, DevOps, or system administration with AWS (e.g., EC2, S3, ELK, Route 53, RDS, SNS, SES, SQS).
• Expertise in AWS networking, security (PKI, IAM, encryption), and infrastructure-as-code provisioning.
• Hands-on experience with application monitoring tools like Prometheus, Elastic Stack, and Grafana.
• Proficiency in scripting or programming languages (Shell script, JavaScript, Python).
• A solid understanding of microservices, API scalability, and creating resilient platforms.
• Knowledge of quality code, source control, continuous integration, and delivery processes.
• A passion for automation and a continuous improvement mindset.
IT’S NICE TO HAVE…
• Experience with HashiCorp products (Terraform, Vault, Consul, Nomad).
• Background in financial markets or trading systems.
• Familiarity with Java and database systems like Postgres or SQL.
