Hutly is a market leading real estate contracts, data and payments platform, on an ambitious journey to create a world where everyone has safe, stable and certain shelter. Our mission is to create a more equitable and transparent ecosystem and we are doing this by facilitating property transactions via our Living Contract platform.


Role Overview:

The UX/UI Designer role will be responsible for playing a pivotal role in designing and shaping exceptional user experiences of the entire Hutly Platform in order to achieve business goals and outcomes. You will work closely with the Head of Product and Engineering team to design and implement innovative experiences for our customers, channel partners and network partners.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Using best practices, design and create innovative user experiences for the Hutly Platform and its ecosystem of products and offerings.
  • Create wireframes, prototypes and high fidelity designs to support product discovery and solutioning
  • Support cross-functional teams in deliverables for bringing products and offerings from conception to delivery to market
  • Ensure designs across products and offerings on the Hutly Platform form a cohesive experience for the relevant users
  • Conduct interviews and research with target users to gather insights about their needs, frustrations, and preferences.
  • Run usability tests on live products for observation of the design and identify areas for improvement


Qualifications:

  • Over 5+ years of proven UX/UI Design expertise in a SaaS, technology, or B2B environment.
  • Experience in working across multiple design projects and initiatives with a track record for delivering commercially successful products to market
  • Strong customer empathy
  • Strong track record in data-driven decision making for design
  • Experience with design tools (We use Figma as our design tool)
  • Demonstrable proficiency in qualitative and quantitative research methodologies to objectively extract insight and improve designs
  • Strong Analytical and problem solving skills to translate user needs, user feedback into design solutions
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a talent for building strong relationships both internally and externally and with the ability to articulate design decisions and rationale to stakeholders

  • Role is based in Sydney, Australia
  • Hybrid working arrangement. 2-3 days in person
