Product (UI/UX) Designer

SuperYacht Times is an innovative media, data and software company based in the center of Amsterdam, The Netherlands. We are looking for a Senior Product Designer to join our rapidly growing Product Team.

About you:

You are an ambitious, enthusiastic and down-to-earth designer, you’re independent, a self-starter, yet not afraid to ask questions. You are able to work to a deadline and according to specifications. You have experience in Product Design / UX/UI Design, but you’re not afraid to learn new skills and apply them in your job. You care about quality over quantity, and you have good taste. And, you’re a good team player and great communicator.

What you will do:

• Conduct independent research to collect and evaluate qualitative and quantitative insights
• Define and measure quantitative UX goals and metrics
• Align with multiple stakeholders, incorporating feedback early and often and encouraging a user-centered focus
• Create user storyboards, experience journeys, wireframes and user scenarios to effectively communicate interaction and design ideas
• Quickly turn your insights into a concept to test it with real users for iteration
• Comfortable with using and scaling design systems
• Contribute with original ideas that bring simplicity and user-friendliness
• Have excellent UI skills and taste, with attention to detail

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in (digital) product design / UX & UI design
• Relevant degree and/or strong portfolio to showcase your skills
• Working proficiency with Figma and online research tools
• Knowledge of how to use a variety of UX research methods (qualitative and quantitative), with a strong awareness of their merits and weaknesses
• Have a strong attention to details to take designs to the next level
• Excellent time management and organisational skills
• Eager and driven to learn, open to feedback from the team, and ready to change and iterate
• If not based in the Netherlands, you have a good internet connection
• Fluency in English, both spoken and written
