Scrum Master

We are looking for an experienced Scrum Master to support the replacement of the current Phoeniks workflow system with a new IBM BAW workflow solution (OBS - Develop, Decide, Sanction).

The focus of this role is on creating a strong, predictable flow from analysis to sprint-ready stories and ensuring sprint goals are consistently achieved. You will help the team work in a focused, prioritised way while strengthening collaboration, ownership and continuous improvement.

As Scrum Master, you are the guardian of the Agile way of working and mindset within the team. You act primarily as a coach and facilitator, enabling the team to perform at its best in a complex organisational environment.

About the role

• Location: Amsterdam
• Hybrid working model
• 38 hours per week
• Facilitate and optimise Agile/Scrum processes and ceremonies
• Organise and safeguard flow from analysis to sprint-ready backlog items
• Coach the team on focus, self-management and continuous improvement
• Remove impediments and manage dependencies in a complex environment
• Support Agile metrics and transparency
• Actively stimulate adoption and acceptance of Agile ways of working
• Coach individuals on development points to strengthen team maturity and velocity

What you bring

• HBO working and thinking level
• At least 3 years of recent experience as a Scrum Master in a complex organisation
• Proven experience applying Agile at team and organisational level
• Strong coaching skills and Agile mindset
• Excellent soft skills: empathy, listening, questioning, explaining and feedback
• Experience with application development environments and complex dependencies is a strong advantage
