Senior Kotlin Developer

Introduction & Summary

We are seeking a skilled Kotlin Developer with over 5 years of experience in mobile technologies. The ideal candidate will contribute to our Core Privacy Engine and collaborate closely with project managers, designers, and engineers to define a clear product vision and development path. A passion for automated testing and the ability to troubleshoot across various mobile and TV environments are crucial skills for this position.

Main Responsibilities

As a Kotlin Developer, you will play a key role in the following:

• Develop the Core Privacy Engine using Kotlin for mobile technologies.
• Create mobile and TV interfaces for our products.
• Collaborate with the PM, Designers, and other Engineers to define product vision and execution.
• Tackle new challenges involving the latest app/game technologies (e.g., Unity, Roku, Flutter, React Native).
• Actively participate in product planning, refinement sessions, and team retrospectives to enhance product and team performance.
• Review team members’ code to provide feedback and maintain clean coding standards.
  
  

Key Requirements

• 5+ years of development experience with Kotlin.
• Strong interest in building products with mobile technologies.
• Passion for automated testing.
• Ability to take ownership of product features and quality, especially where other technical teams are involved.
• Effective communication of technical concepts and challenges to non-technical colleagues or customers.
• Capacity to challenge the status quo and communicate effectively during disagreements.
• Ability to reproduce, evaluate, and troubleshoot problems across multiple mobile and TV environments.
  
  

Nice to Have

• Experience with Kotlin Multiplatform.
• Understanding of Android and/or iOS operating systems, along with their limitations and behaviors.
• Experience building B2B SDKs.
• Experience with mobile cross-platform technologies like Flutter and React Native.
• Familiarity with gaming technologies such as Unity.
• Experience maintaining a CI/CD ecosystem for an SDK.
  
  

Other Details

This position requires in-office attendance twice a week in Lisbon. English proficiency at C1 level is required, and candidates should be available to start within 30 days.
