Python Developer

Purpose of the job:

• We are looking for a proactive, open-minded Python Engineer to join a Feature Team working on a project in the marketing and sales domain.
• The goal is to analyze, predict, and optimize revenue growth management using modern data technologies and Generative AI (GenAI) tools to enhance productivity and development workflows. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in dynamic environments, communicates effectively with clients, and embraces innovation through GenAI-assisted engineering.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with stakeholders and clients to gather requirements and propose solutions.
• Design and develop new features from scratch, ensuring quality and timely delivery.
• Use GenAI tools (e.g., for code generation, documentation, testing, or data analysis) to accelerate development and improve outcomes.
• Participate in architectural and functional design discussions.
• Research and evaluate technical options for implementing features. Estimate feature scope and break it down into actionable tasks.
• Identify and mitigate technical risks early.
• Resolve issues within agreed SLAs and implement customer-specific fixes.
• Maintain high development standards through testing and documentation.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to team knowledge sharing.
• Communicate proactively with clients and internal teams, ensuring transparency and alignment.

Mandatory skills:

• 5+ years of commercial software development experience.
• 4+ years of Python development experience.
• Hands-on experience with: FastAPI, Pandas, asyncio, SQLAlchemy, Celery, Redis, RabbitMQ, gRPC, Microservices architecture, Docker and cloud platforms
• Experience using GenAI tools (e.g., Copilot, Cursor, GitHub Copilot, or similar) to support development tasks.
• Solid understanding of software engineering principles, OOP, OOD, and design patterns. Agile/Scrum team experience.
