We are seeking a highly skilled Mobile Automation Architect to design, develop, and maintain scalable mobile automation solutions for Android and iOS applications.

The ideal candidate brings strong hands-on experience with Appium, solid programming expertise in TypeScript, Core Java, or Python, and practical exposure to CI/CD pipelines and cloud-based device testing.

You will collaborate closely with cross-functional and US-based teams to ensure high-quality, reliable, and maintainable mobile test automation frameworks supporting a leading healthcare market product.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain mobile automation frameworks using Appium with WebdriverIO
• Create and execute end-to-end automated test scripts for native, hybrid, and mobile web applications
• Work with Mocha / Jest test runners and Chai for assertions and validations
• Integrate automation suites into CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins
• Execute automated tests on BrowserStack (or equivalent cloud device platforms)
• Debug, analyze, and troubleshoot test failures; collaborate with development teams for quick resolution
• Utilize Android Studio, ADB, emulators, and XCUITest for platform-level testing
• Maintain reusable utilities, test data, and configurations for scalable automation
• Generate execution reports and contribute to continuous improvement of automation practices

Required Skills & Experience

• Strong programming experience in TypeScript, Core Java, or Python
• Proven hands-on expertise with Appium for Android and iOS
• Solid experience with WebdriverIO
• Proficiency with Mocha or Jest
• Strong knowledge of Chai assertions
• Experience running tests on BrowserStack or similar cloud platforms
• CI/CD integration experience using Jenkins
• Good understanding of Android Studio, ADB, and XCUITest
• Strong grasp of mobile app architecture, locators, gestures, and synchronization
• Excellent debugging and troubleshooting skills in mobile environments

Nice to Have

• Experience with API automation (REST Assured, Axios, Python Requests)
• Familiarity with Allure / Mochawesome reporting
• Exposure to BDD frameworks (Cucumber with TypeScript or Java)
• Experience with GitHub Actions or GitLab CI
• Knowledge of device farms and test parallelization
