⚡Then what:

IT Resilience Officer to join our client in the biometrics and cryptography field, in order to enhance and assist in the implementation of comprehensive resilience strategies, including Business Continuity Plans (BCP) and Disaster Recovery Plans (DRP), while strengthening the crisis management capabilities. This role will play a critical part in ensuring the organization is prepared for unforeseen events and can respond effectively when they occur.

Responsibilities:

• Update and create BCP, conducting gap analyses and risk assessments.
• Collaborate with IT resilience officers and stakeholders to implement and monitor BCP policies.
• Establish a feedback mechanism to refine BCP strategies based on exercises and incidents.
• Align and enhance DRP with BCP, focusing on critical systems and data recovery.
• Conduct gap analyses and develop roadmaps for DRP improvements.
• Design and execute quarterly resilience exercises, including tabletop and simulation drills.
• Support IT crisis management by improving frameworks, communication strategies, and decision-making processes.
• Develop and deliver annual training programs on BCP, DRP, and crisis management.
• Assist in maintaining IT resiliency plans aligned with organizational needs and regulations.
• Define and execute crisis management plans, contingency planning, and testing.
• Conduct risk assessments and ensure compliance with crisis management policies.
• Analyze incidents, prepare reports, and ensure adherence to legal and industry standards.

Required experience:

• Proven experience in business continuity, disaster recovery, and crisis management.
• Strong understanding of risk assessment methodologies, compliance standards, and crisis management frameworks.
• Ability to update BCP and DRP documents, conduct resilience exercises, and analyze key findings.
• Skilled in developing and delivering training programs for IT executives and technical teams.

This role is hybrid in Bucharest: 3 days per week in the office & 2 days remote.
