Job Description
- Define, implement, and continuously improve the cybersecurity strategy covering the company’s IT and OT environments,
- Ensure the security of SCADA, DCS, PLC, and Industrial Control Systems (ICS), and manage the OT cybersecurity architecture,
- Ensure compliance with regulations, standards, and frameworks specific to the Oil & Gas industry,
- Develop cybersecurity policies, procedures, standards, and roadmaps and ensure their organization-wide implementation,
- Identify and assess cybersecurity risks and coordinate risk mitigation actions in collaboration with relevant business units,
- Manage security incidents by leading incident response, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement activities,
- Oversee SOC, SIEM, security monitoring, and threat intelligence processes and enhance their effectiveness,
- Lead the preparation, testing, and sustainability of Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity plans,
- Ensure security across cloud, hybrid, and on-premise architectures and manage third-party and vendor-related risks,
- Plan and oversee cybersecurity audits, penetration testing, and vulnerability management activities, and follow up on their outcomes,
- Provide regular reporting to executive management on cybersecurity risk posture, KPIs, and security metrics,
- Drive cybersecurity awareness, training, and education programs across the organization,
- Work closely with internal audit, legal, compliance, and risk management teams to ensure closure of identified findings,
- Manage budget, resources, and teams to build, lead, and continuously develop a high-performing cybersecurity organization.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Information Systems, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, or a related engineering discipline,
- Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in cybersecurity, including leadership or managerial roles, preferably within the Oil & Gas, energy, or critical infrastructure sectors,
- Strong hands-on knowledge of IT and OT cybersecurity, including SCADA, DCS, PLC, ICS, and industrial network architectures,
- Solid background in cybersecurity risk management, incident response, vulnerability management, and threat detection,
- Experience in managing SOC, SIEM, SOAR, and security monitoring platforms,
- Demonstrated expertise in Disaster Recovery (DR) and Business Continuity Management (BCM) planning and testing,
- Experience securing cloud, hybrid, and on-premise environments, as well as managing third-party and vendor security risks,
- Strong leadership, team management, and stakeholder engagement skills,
- Ability to communicate effectively with executive leadership and translate technical risks into business impact,
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities,
- Fluency in English (written and spoken).
