About the Client

We are looking for an experienced Biomedical Engineer, who will join a project for our client operating in pharmaceutical domain. The project focuses on the development and validation of digital biomarkers used in clinical trials, particularly for movement disorders such as Huntington’s Disease and Parkinson’s Disease.


What you will do

· Develop, refine and implement signal processing and machine learning algorithms for digital biomarkers based on sensor data (IMU, touchscreen, audio)

· Analyze and validate digital biomarker performance using real-world clinical trial data and data science methodologies

· Apply verification and validation frameworks (e.g. V3+) to ensure robustness, usability and clinical relevance of algorithms

· Perform statistical analysis and data visualization to communicate insights and algorithm performance to cross-functional teams

· Collaborate closely with biomedical scientists, data scientists, engineers and clinical experts to translate technical results into clinical endpoints


What we are looking for

· Master’s or Ph.D. degree in Biomedical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or a related quantitative field

· Strong experience in biomedical signal processing and algorithm development, preferably in a clinical or pharmaceutical environment

· Proficiency in Python (NumPy, SciPy, Pandas, scikit-learn) or MATLAB for data analysis and signal processing

· Solid understanding of digital signal processing techniques (filtering, time-frequency analysis, feature extraction)

· Fluent English and ability to work effectively in cross-functional, international teams
