About the role

As a developer in the simulation team, you will contribute to our next-generation medical simulation platform from the ground up. This greenfield project involves building a brand-new software ecosystem where your focus will be on creating a secure, high-performance mobile application. You will execute complex hardware integrations and develop new features, playing a vital role in the technical realization and successful launch of this new initiative. You will collaborate with technical experts in a multicultural environment and engage with colleagues globally to align our products with evolving healthcare regulation and user needs.


Some of what you will be doing

  • Develop and maintain medical simulation software, primarily for iOS, with potential expansion into Android.
  • Implement Laerdal’s secure software development framework, including code reviews and dependency tracking.
  • Contribute to improving our codebase, team dynamics, and development processes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance our software offerings and improve user experience.
  • Explore and stay updated on new technologies relevant to medical simulation software.
  • Document and test in various ways and parts of the product

We expect that you have

  • A BSc. or MSc. in a relevant engineering discipline.
  • 3+ years of professional experience developing software applications.
  • Proficiency in .NET development and familiarity with software development principles.
  • Experience in MAUI or other cross platform framework(s)
  • Experience in designing and implementing user interfaces for mobile or desktop applications.
  • Strong interests in software architecture and code quality.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to collaborate effectively in a team setting.


You will get us extra excited if you have experience with

  • Web application development,
  • Previous experience in the medical field or other regulated environment.
  • End-to-end testing
  • Designing software solutions
