Position Overview

UNIQLO Canada is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Talent Acquisition Assistant Manager to support end-to-end recruitment for our Retail Store and Head Office teams.This role plays a critical part in attracting top talent, strengthening our employer brand, and delivering a seamless candidate experience.

In addition to recruitment, this position offers hands-on exposure to broader HR functions, including HR Systems, reporting, policies, and special projects – making it an excellent opportunity for a recruiter looking to grow into a well-rounded HR professional withing a global organization.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Recruitment & Relationship Management :

• Partner with hiring managers to understand role requirements, hiring timelines, and develop effective recruitment strategies.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with hiring managers, acting as a trusted advisor and subject matter expert.
• Ensure timely, professional communication with candidates throughout the process.
  
  

Full-Cycle Recruitment

• Manage the end-to-end recruitment process from job posting to offer stage.
• Develop sourcing strategies to identify and attract top talent, utilizing a variety of channels including job boards, social media platforms, employee referrals and networking.
  
  

HR Data, Systems & Reporting

• Maintain accurate employee and candidate records in ATS and HRIS systems.
• Utilize data and analytics to track key recruitment metrics and identify areas for improvement.
• Prepare recruitment and HR-related reports as required.
• Assist with compliance documentation and data tracking.
  
  

Policy & HR Project Support

• Support the distribution and maintenance of HR policies and documentation.
• Assist with HR initiatives and projects as assigned by the Talent Acquisition Manager.
  
  

What You Bring

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• 3-5+ years of full-cycle recruitment experience, ideally in a fast-paced or high-volume environment.
• Experience recruiting for retail, corporate, or multi-site organizations is an asset.
• Strong proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Experience using ATS and HRIS systems (Workday experience is an asset).
• Working knowledge of recruitment best practices and employment legislation.
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to adapt quickly in a dynamic, evolving environment.
• French language proficiency is considered an asset.

Annual Salary: $112,000 CAD.

The annual salary is based on several factors, including, but not limited to, overall experience, relevant experience, education level, certifications, applicable skills and expertise, and location of the position.
