Program Manager, Global Building Infrastructure Protection Services

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5 years of experience in program or project management in an enterprise, cloud, or technology environment.
  • Experience working with executive-level clients or stakeholders.

Preferred qualifications:

  • 7 years of experience in managing technology projects from evaluation to design and execution.
  • 2 years of experience as a people manager leading and motivating a virtual or global team.
  • Experience with security systems, infrastructure projects, deployment management, program and people management.
  • Excellent communication skills in interacting with various technical and non-technical groups at director level to drive business outcomes.

About the jobFrom keeping Googlers safe and secure to managing disruptive events, the ability to anticipate, deter, detect, and act are the pillars of Google’s Global Security and Resilience Services (GSRS) team. As a member of GSRS you will help develop a culture where safety, security and resiliency are integrated into every facet of Google, including the creative process. You will help us continually identify, evaluate and monitor enterprise risks that could affect business activities and provide business leaders the information they need to make critical decisions. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to create innovative strategies and develop programs that drive sustainable effectiveness.

Responsibilities

  • Manage a global team of security systems consultants, project managers, security systems installers.
  • Implement a variety of security technologies, utilizing industry and Google recommended practices, hardware/software, or risk frameworks.
  • Manage the purchase order process, invoice approval, forecasting and budgeting.
  • Be a cross-functional leader, achieve project goals and deliverables. Generate the ideas required to solve a problem.
  • Manage programs, identify and implement process improvements for the organization, and exercise business and technical understanding to drive the organization’s long-term objectives.
