🚀 Job Opportunity: DevOps Engineer (Contract) 🚀
📍 Location: Remote (occasional travel, max. 2 days/month)
📅 Start Date: 15th February 2025
⏳ End Date: 31st December 2025
🔧 Key Responsibilities:
- Manage cloud infrastructure, including access control, FinOps, and cloud cost optimization.
- Design and maintain ETL/ELT data pipelines.
- Implement CI/CD workflows using Git/GitHub.
- Develop and manage Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform).
- Automate and streamline deployments using cloud platforms such as Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Azure, and AWS.
- Collaborate on Data Mesh implementations and architecture designs.
🎯 Required Skills & Experience:
- Cloud Administration & FinOps: Several years managing cloud environments and optimizing cloud costs.
- Data Pipeline Management: Strong experience with ETL/ELT tools like Apache Airflow / Google Composer.
- CI/CD & Version Control: Advanced proficiency in Git/GitHub and CI/CD workflows.
- Infrastructure-as-Code: Expertise with Terraform for cloud resource automation.
- Scripting & Automation: Strong skills in Python for process automation.
- Cloud Platforms: Deep understanding of GCP, Azure, and AWS environments.
- Data Mesh Concept: Experience with Data Mesh design and implementation.
- Language Proficiency: German C1 level (mandatory).
💼 Contract Details:
- Duration: 10.5 months (with possible extensions).
- Travel Requirement: Maximum of 2 days/month (if required).
