Technical Product Manager

Our Client is seeking an experienced Product Manager or Senior Product Owner who is ready to advance their career. Experience in a technically complex environment is essential. Responsibilities:

• Product Roadmap Management: Define and manage the technical roadmap and scalability strategy, prioritizing initiatives to enhance scalability, performance, and reliability of the platform.
• Planning and Workshops: Support release planning, quarterly and annual planning, and communicate requirements to subject matter experts (SMEs).
• Write Product Requirements Documents: Develop clear and consistent PRDs for technical products, gathering stakeholder information to deliver technical solutions such as APIs, hardware solutions, or platform enhancements.
• Epic Definition: Collaborate in defining epics, using subject matter expertise.
• Craft User Stories: Create detailed user stories for technical initiatives, including acceptance criteria.
• Backlog Management: Own and manage the technical backlog, ensuring tasks are prioritized, well-defined, and ready for the team, while identifying risks and dependencies for sprint and release planning.
• Engineering & Partner Collaboration: Empower Engineering and Partner teams to develop the best solutions by effectively communicating the product vision, strategy, and user needs.
• Partner Coordination: Act as the technical point of contact for partners building or integrating with the platform, ensuring delivery is aligned with requirements and standards.
• Cross-Functional Communication: Share roadmaps, priorities, decisions, and risks with internal stakeholders, ensuring transparency across the organization.
• Stakeholder Communication: Assist in communicating roadmaps, priorities, and decisions to stakeholders, maintaining transparency.
• Build vs. Buy: Create business cases to support decisions on building or buying technical solutions, including device strategies in collaboration with the Operations team.
• Customer Interface: Participate in customer meetings to communicate vision, strategy, and technical decisions, ensuring clarity on their impacts.
• Documentation: Ensure technical product documentation aligns with the needs of both internal and external customers.
• Data Privacy and Security: Understand the importance of information security and ensure it is considered in every process.
• Line Management: Manage and mentor junior team members, maintaining high work standards and professionalism. Contribute to continuous improvement by sharing best practices in product and engineering.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a Product Manager or Senior Product Owner in a technology company with significant technical complexity (hardware, platform, integrations, infrastructure).
• Experience working with Agile development teams.
• Experience in a distributed team environment with remote stakeholders.
• Strong prioritization skills, with the ability to consistently apply a decision-making approach and communicate it effectively when challenged.
• Proven experience in stakeholder management, with the ability to influence across all levels of the organization.
• Excellent communication skills, capable of conducting demos and presenting to senior stakeholders and customers.
• Strong technical background, with experience in engineering and/or architecture.
