GRC Consultant - Governance Risk and Compliance

French-speaking GRC Consultants based in Luxembourg are highly sought after for this engagement, and we are supporting a client who is actively looking to secure this rare skill set. This role offers the opportunity to work at the heart of the organisation’s cybersecurity function, directly supporting senior leadership and shaping long-term security strategy. As a GRC Consultant, you will play a key role in strengthening the organisation’s governance, risk and compliance posture. You will work closely with the CISO, infrastructure teams, and wider stakeholders to ensure cyber risk is clearly understood, managed effectively, and communicated in a practical, business-focused way.

Key responsibilities include:

• Assisting and advising the CISO on GRC and cybersecurity initiatives
• Supporting and delivering cybersecurity awareness activities across the organisation
• Conducting enterprise-wide risk analysis and risk management
• Building and maintaining an inventory of applications and their associated risks
• Defining and documenting forward-looking risk analysis plans and methodologies
• Developing and maintaining cybersecurity maturity improvement roadmaps
• Working closely with infrastructure and security teams to align governance requirements with technical controls
• Translating complex security and risk topics into clear, actionable insights for non-technical stakeholders

Key Skills & Experience

• Proven experience in GRC, information security, or cyber risk management
• Strong understanding of security frameworks and risk methodologies (e.g. ISO 27001, NIST, COBIT)
• Experience working closely with or supporting a CISO or senior security leadership
• Ability to drive cyber awareness initiatives within large organisations
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
• Fluent French (written and spoken) is essential
• Luxembourg-based or willing to work on-site/hybrid in Luxembourg
