• Participate in application deployment and release processes via Google Play or enterprise distribution platforms.

• Maintain clear and comprehensive documentation to support regulatory audits and ongoing product lifecycle management.

• Implement and manage communication with external medical devices using the needed protocol (e.g., Bluetooth, BLE, ASK).

Requirements

• Proven experience developing native Android applications using Kotlin.

• Strong understanding of Android architecture patterns (e.g., MVVM, MVP), RESTful API integration, and mobile data storage solutions.

Desired: Knowledge or experience with Kotlin Multiplatform (KMP) for sharing business logic across platforms.

• Desired knowledge of Bluetooth GATT Profiles and usage of third-party SDKs and libraries.

• Familiarity with healthcare standards, regulatory requirements, or prior experience in the medtech or digital health sector is highly desirable.

• Experience working with secure data transmission, encryption, and user authentication mechanisms.

• Knowledge of Android accessibility standards and best practices. • Proficiency with version control systems (e.g., Azure DevOps Repos) and CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, Azure Pipelines) for Android applications.

Soft skills

Strong problem-solving abilities with a focus on creating safe and effective digital healthcare experiences.

• Clear communication skills, especially in explaining technical decisions to clinical or non-technical team members.

Attention to detail, particularly in handling sensitive medical data and ensuring regulatory compliance.

• User empathy and a patient-centered design mindset.

• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, interdisciplinary team environment.

• Flexibility and openness to learning in a rapidly evolving industry.
