Responsibilities
Société Générale Global Solutions Centre (SG GSC) acts as a business solution center for Société Générale, one of the largest European financial groups. We provide high-quality professional services for more than 35 countries in various fields of activity – Finance & Accounting, HR, IT and Corporate Operations. You will work on the FBI (Flow Baskets & Instruments) application used for B2C activity on equity products issued by Societe Generale Investment Bank. The application handles more than 250.000 products so application performance is very important. There are 16 components in total ranging from managing Corporate Actions, reporting, regulatory (EMT, EPT, ...) to components that notify other systems of new products or of the life-cycle events than happen on these products.

Specifically, you will be required to::
- Contribute in all phases of application development lifecycle;
- Participate in establishing backend development strategies;
- Write well designed, efficient code compliant with existing framework and standards;
- Develop, code, install, test, debug, and document applications;
- Collaborate in upgrading components architectures and overall structure of the applications;
- Ensure the delivery of high-quality solutions to agreed specifications and within agreed time scales;
- Assist in development of new features and components in conjunction with business leaders and department managers;
- Understand the code-base of existing applications and suggest improvements, fix bugs, and add new features, as needed;
- Support continuous improvements by investigating alternatives and technologies.
Profile required
- Strong knowledge of .NET(both Framework 4.8 & Core);
- Good knowledge of Entity Framework;
- Basic knowledge of Javascript/Angular;
- Strong knowledge of Visual Studio;
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server;
- Good command of English, both written and spoken with the ability to participate in English-only meetings;
- Enthusiasm, self-confidence, innovative problem-solving skills, curiosity, autonomy.
- NUnit & Specflow (BDD) is a plus;
- Experience with RabbitMQ;
- Experience with Filebeat & Kibana;
- Experience on applications that handle large volumes of data.
- Knowledge about Cloud Platforms - Proficient in AWS, Azure, or GCP services, with hands-on experience.
