Responsibilities

Develop and maintain data science solutions from inception to deployment, working with Python, data science frameworks, and modern software practices including CI/CD pipelines, containerization, and cloud deployment
Design and implement prototypes and proofs of concept (POCs) to validate the feasibility and value of solutions, as well as provide architectural guidance
Engage in the research, design, construction, and training of data models to tackle complex challenges with innovative approaches
Provide technical expertise and guidance to clients and team members on the adoption and implementation of data science technologies, effectively communicating complex concepts to a non-technical audience
Commit to the ongoing improvement and scaling of data solutions through rigorous testing, maintenance, and optimization efforts

What Are We Looking For

A foundational degree or current study in Statistics, Applied Mathematics, Computer Science, or related fields, with a strong emphasis on the practical application of these skills
Proficiency in Python and familiarity with Shell scripting, alongside a genuine interest in developing scalable data solutions
An understanding of, or experience with, data science and machine learning technologies (e.g., Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch, Pandas, NumPy), including feature engineering, model selection, and evaluation
Knowledge of cloud platforms (Microsoft Azure, AWS, or GCP), MLOps practices, including CI/CD pipeline development, containerization, and model deployment
Strong teamwork skills, fluency in English, and the ability to communicate complex ideas effectively

Nice To Have

Experience with additional programming languages (R, SQL, Java) and platforms (Databricks, Apache Spark) is a plus
A keen interest in deepening domain or industry expertise, particularly in data science and analytics
An awareness of Responsible AI standards and protocols
