Node.js Developer (with React)

Salary: 1000-1300 PLN/day on B2B

Work model: hybrid from Warszawa (2-3 days per week from the office)

Project

You will be involved in a financial project focused on building internal self-service solutions for requesting and automating IT services within a company portal.

The project aims to streamline interactions between end users and multiple automation engines via REST APIs, improving usability, scalability, and developer experience.

Responsibilities You'll Have

• Designing and creating templates for requests sent to various automation engines via REST APIs
• Developing self-service templates (YAML) used by end users to request internal IT services
• Implementing custom field extensions based on Backstage.io
• Developing frontend components using React to support dynamic and API-driven form fields
• Building and maintaining Platform APIs supporting template execution and data retrieval
• Integrating templates with external APIs to fetch and populate data dynamically
• Collaborating with UX/UI and platform teams to ensure high usability and visual quality
  
  

Expected competences and knowledge

• Strong Node.js programming skills
• Practical experience with React
• Good understanding of REST APIs and API-based integrations
• Experience or strong interest in UX/UI design, with a good aesthetic sense
• Ability to design user-friendly, dynamic forms and templates
• Understanding of how self-service platforms and internal developer portals operate
