Job Description

We're looking for a Senior QA Engineer for the client in a banking industry. The team is a centralized Test Automation team, in the Property Finance business area. It supports multiple development teams in covering various automated testing activities including; smoke-, integration-, regression- and performance at system level. Focus is on integrations between services – direct, using REST calls and an eventing framework.

You will be responsible for analyzing services using API documentation, design test cases in cooperation with the development teams and implement them in a testing project based on Java, Rest Assured and Cucumber. The CI in the project is covered by Jenkins, using Jenkins Pipelines.

Your responsibilities will also include maintaining and updating scripts for running automated tests as well as verifying the test results, finding the root cause for revealed defects and reporting bugs.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a Test automation engineer.
• 5+ years of experience with Java.
• Solid Coding skills and work experience with REST services, REST Assured, Jenkins, Cucumber, SQL (Oracle).
• A curious mind with an open nature and desire to knowledge-share with others, proactivity.
• Fluent in English (written and spoken).
