Role Description

This is a full-time position for an Artificial Intelligence Researcher. In this role, you will work on developing and optimizing AI-based solutions, contributing to innovative projects in underwater communication and multi-domain systems. Responsibilities include conducting advanced research, building models for pattern recognition and data analysis, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to advance cutting-edge technologies.

Qualifications

• Strong background in Computer Science and experience in algorithm development
• Proficiency in Pattern Recognition and Data Science techniques
• Ability to conduct thorough Research and analyze complex datasets
• Solid understanding of Statistics and its application in AI research
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong written and verbal communication abilities
• Advanced degree (Master’s or Ph.D.) in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, or related field
• Familiarity with defense or critical infrastructure projects is a plus

Tasks

• Design and develop embedded software on customized hardware platform
• Research innovative solutions in the field of embedded systems and communications for AIoT
• Drafting and ensuring the technical documents required for development
• Adapt and deploy embedded software and AI algorithm in embedded systems
• Develop distributed intelligent system in edge, fog and cloud platform 
• Implement and deploy container-based system
• Integration of web-based GUI and APIs (REST)
• Actively participate in the development, integration or implementation IIoT and AIoT software
• Execute technological developments in your area of expertise
• Identify technological and scientific obstacles and propose strategies for solving them
• Identify the best tools for carrying out a project
• Validate and characterize the performance of the solutions delivered
• Participate in the deployment of the solutions with our clients

Salary

Depending on education and experience, typically with Ph.D degree around 900.000 NOK pr year.

Testing
