Role Overview

In the position of Development Lead, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the integrity and quality of the backend system for a specialized healthcare platform. This platform serves as an essential interface for healthcare professionals to gather data from various sources and collaborate on patient care across different contexts, such as medication management, maternity support, advance care planning, in-home care, and chronic condition management. The backend encompasses components like an API gateway, account management, user authentication, workflow coordination based on FHIR standards, and data storage, utilizing Rust for backend processing and GraphQL for frontend interaction.

Key Responsibilities

- Identify and define initiatives aimed at enhancing the application's reliability, traceability, and performance.

- Collaborate with the product manager to convert solution designs into comprehensive software architectures.

- Work alongside the product owner to prioritize project timelines and ensure alignment with organizational objectives.

- Organize sprints and break down larger projects into manageable user goals and tasks with clear acceptance criteria and quality assurance standards. Your team members will autonomously define and handle their respective tasks.

- Participate actively in daily stand-up meetings, providing support to team members and relaying updates to relevant internal stakeholders.

- Write high-quality code while exemplifying best practices for the team. 💻✨

- Balance your time between team leadership and hands-on development, tailored to your expertise, interests, and organizational requirements.

Requirements

- A degree in computer science or a related technical field, with a minimum of 4 years of engineering experience, including 1-2 years in a leadership capacity.

- Proficiency in English, both spoken and written.

- Experience with Rust, Java, Spring, Node.js, and Kubernetes

- A flexible approach to software engineering that transcends programming languages.

- Previous experience in the health-tech sector is highly advantageous. 🚀
