Global internet infrastructure and cybersecurity company is looking for someone with strong backend background in Go to join a high-impact team working on large-scale, distributed systems.

This role is remote-first, but candidates must be based in/next to Austin, TX and available to go onsite if needed.

What You’ll Be Working On.

• Building and maintaining highly reliable, fault-tolerant backend systems at Cloudflare scale
• Developing API-driven microservices using Golang
• Working within a modern, container-based architecture
• Collaborating across teams and stakeholders in complex deployment environments
• Supporting integrations with enterprise systems such as Workday, NetSuite, Oracle, and Anaplan

Tech Stack

• Golang (core language – must be hands-on)
• Kafka, PostgreSQL, Redis
• Kubernetes, Docker
• RESTful APIs
• Temporal
• Unix/Linux environments
• Event-driven architectures

The entire codebase for this project is written in Go, so candidates must be able to hit the ground running.

What they’re Looking For

• 5+ years of professional experience as a developer/engineer. Knowledge of Golang.
• Solid understanding of RESTful APIs and service security.
• Working knowledge of SQL and relational databases such as PostgreSQL or MySQL.
• Experience with modern Unix/Linux development and runtime environment.
• Experience implementing secure and highly-available distributed systems/microservices.
• Familiarity with event-driven architecture.
• Knowledge of API standards and tooling (Swagger/OpenAPI, OAuth, JWT).
• Strong communication skills and a proactive, ownership-driven mindset.
