Network Analyst
Term: Long term contract engagement +6 months
Location: GAFFNEY, SC / GASTONIA, NC - MUST TRAVEL TO THESE TWO LOCATIONS
RATE:$30-$40/HR.
CANDIDATE MUST TRAVEL BETWEEN GAFFNEY, SC TO GASTONIA, NC AREA.
System / Network Engineer / Analyst familiar with Cisco equipment. Manufacturing experience is a plus.
Industrial Network Support Service
Long Term Contract Engagement
Part of a close-knit team for one of our prestigious customers, you’ll enjoy an environment where people support and respect each other. The role of the Network Engineer is to implement, maintain, troubleshoot and support all aspects of network and security on the network infrastructure. The network engineer will work closely with the Local and International network team. They will be responsible for the timely delivery of changes to the network environment to facilitate the on boarding of new clients, to deliver new features or service to the platform and to provide support for production issues.
Duties/Responsibilities
• Partners with business leaders to deliver services that support company objectives and that are consistent with Winning Together values.
• Monitoring, and maintaining existing GAN, and LAN. This to include replacing failed hardware as needed.
• Most hardware failures consist of Cisco switches, and access points. Engineers would be required to configure and install replacement hardware as needed using a template.
• Monitoring, updating, and resolving daily tickets in a customer ticketing system based on Remedy software.
• Perform daily moves, adds, and changes (MAC).
• Troubleshoot wireless network using Cisco Prime, spectrum analysis, NetScout devices, Savvius Omnipeek, and/or Ekahau software.
• Perform all aspects of network administration; including documentation of hardware components using
• Microsoft Visio software, Spectrum, and Command applications.
• Troubleshoot TCP/IP incidents using Wireshark packet capture software.
• Assist project team completing various ongoing project task.
• Proficient with Microsoft Visio and has the understanding of logical network drawings.
• Full understanding of the OSI model.
• Embrace and support company's mission and core values.
Education & Experience Required
• Legally eligible to work in the United States.
• BA or equivalent technical school degree preferred or equivalent experience, industry certifications a plus.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience working on Cisco equipment.
• One of the following certifications recommended:
o CCNA
o CCDA
o CCNA Wireless
o CCNA Security

• Routine administrative skills
• Able to meet the physical requirements of the usual and customary methods of performing the job functions, including: a variety of standing, sitting, and walking throughout the day; lifting of up to 50 pounds.

-Interact with users to understand and document all IT issues.
-Install and maintain computer systems and peripherals in accordance with established standards and guidelines.
-Perform administrative duties, including asset tracking and management, IT inventory maintenance, processing purchase requisitions, managing shipping, and providing general support to team members.
-Assist with the planning and implementation of IT projects across multiple sites.
-Provide first-level IT support for business users
-Perform analysis, diagnostics, and resolution of user computer problems, and implement corrective solutions.
-Install, configure, test, maintain, and troubleshoot end-user workstations and related hardware and software.
-Open service requests and manage warranty repairs with hardware vendors.
-Manage the new user request process, including configuration, setup, inventory, and testing of new user computers prior to delivery.
