DCS Engineer

Experion PKS Engineer (DCS)

Location: Oman (site-based)

Overview

We are looking for a hands-on Experion PKS Engineer to support DCS engineering, commissioning, and site delivery on industrial projects in Oman. This is a contract role working on live control systems in operational environments. The candidate must be multi-skilled, covering DCS (Experion PKS), Honeywell Safety Manager systems, and HMI configuration.

Key Responsibilities

• Engineering and configuration of Experion PKS
• Development and modification of control logic (C300, ACE)
• HMI design and configuration
• Design and support of FTE networks and system architecture
• Participation in FAT, SAT, commissioning, and site support
• Support system upgrades, expansions, and migrations
• Troubleshooting and supporting live DCS and Safety systems
• Close collaboration with site teams and project stakeholders

Required Experience

• Strong hands-on experience with Experion PKS
• Background in DCS/control systems engineering
• Experience with Honeywell Safety Manager systems
• HMI configuration experience
• Experience working on live industrial sites
• Comfortable with site-based contract work in Oman/Middle East
• Good understanding of control system architecture, networking, and safety integration

Nice to Have

• Migration experience (legacy systems to Experion)
• Oil & gas or energy project experience
• Prior Middle East project delivery exposure
