Staff / Lead Full Stack Engineer (React, Go, Python, C++, Rust)

Initial 2-month contract - strong extension potential

100% remote | Australia based | AUS Citizen

This role is for the polyglot engineers out there who enjoy solving hard problems first and worrying about the code second.

This is a hands-on role for someone comfortable working autonomously, owning outcomes, and choosing the right tools and approaches rather than defaulting to a single stack.

What you will be responsible for

• Owning delivery from architectural intent through to production
• Designing and building scalable full-stack solutions across frontend and backend
• Breaking down complex, ill-defined problems into pragmatic, high-quality outcomes
• Making smart technical trade-offs across performance, quality, and delivery speed
• Working closely with architects and senior stakeholders to resolve design and implementation decisions

What we are looking for

• Proven experience operating as a senior, lead, or staff-level full stack engineer
• A genuine polyglot mindset, with React on the frontend and experience across Go, Python, C++, or Rust
• Strong problem-solving capability across the full stack, with engineering judgement to match
• A high sense of ownership and the ability to work independently
• Comfort operating in environments where requirements and solutions are still taking shape

Key requirements

• Australian citizenship is mandatory
• Ability to take accountability for delivery outcomes with minimal oversight
