DevOps Engineer

About the Project

Our client is an innovative FinTech company that has recently established a modern AWS-based platform to support its financial solutions.

The next step in their journey is to move from a fast-paced, start-up style of working towards a more structured, secure, and auditable DevSecOps framework.

This project will focus on implementing standardized CI/CD pipelines, testing, quality gates, and approval processes to strengthen delivery practices and ensure compliance.

• DevSecOps Engineer with preferably AWS, Github and Terraform / Security and client is aiming to certify ISO217 No need strong Security but some / Plateform Team / Python and Java environment

• Getting the application deployment / Platform is stable but V1.0 version and going live soon so you will approve PR and ensure it is all production ready / Team has done DevOps and busy and they need somebody who has implemented proper End to end CI-CD pipelines with following Security guidelines.

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced DevSecOps Engineer (6–8 years of experience) who can combine hands-on delivery with strategic guidance. The successful candidate will design and implement improved DevSecOps processes while advising and guiding the internal team on best practices for automation, governance, and security integration.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and optimize CI/CD pipelines, ideally using GitHub Actions.
• Introduce automated testing, quality controls, and approval workflows for improved delivery governance.

• Standardize and document DevOps practices to ensure auditability, traceability, and compliance.
• Build and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform.

• Integrate security and compliance checks within the delivery pipeline and infrastructure.
• Work closely with internal teams to assess the current DevOps landscape and define a transition plan toward a more stable, mature model.

• Act as a trusted technical advisor, able to articulate and justify architectural decisions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Required Skills and Experience

• 6–8 years of hands-on experience in DevOps / DevSecOps roles.
• Strong practical experience designing and managing CI/CD pipelines End to end (GitHub Actions preferred).

• Proven expertise in Terraform and Infrastructure as Code implementations.
• Solid understanding of automated testing, quality engineering, and controlled release processes.

• Experience deploying and managing secure, scalable AWS environments.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to propose and guide best practices.
• Previous experience working within start-up or scale-up environments is an advantage.
