Job Description

The project focuses on the development of an Installation Management System designed to digitalize and streamline installation, replacement, and servicing processes for metering devices such as water meters, heat meters, heating cost allocators, and concentrators.

The solution will consist of a centralized web portal and a native Android mobile application for field technicians, fully integrated with the existing Reading System. The goal is to replace paper-based workflows with fully digital processes, including electronic protocols, automated reporting, real-time monitoring of work orders, photo documentation, barcode scanning, electronic signatures, and offline mode support.

The system is intended to become the single source of truth for device and structural data, ensuring consistency and improving efficiency across business processes. It will support multiple stakeholders, including internal users, system administrators, housing cooperatives, property managers, subcontractors, and field installers.

The project uses modern, scalable technologies and is deployed on Microsoft Azure to ensure security, availability, and maintainability. The role includes close collaboration with the client and internal teams. For senior-level candidates, a one-time visit to the client at the project start may be required.

Qualifications

• Regular level - Minimum 2+ years of professional experience.
• Senior level - Minimum 4+ years of professional experience, with the ability to guide and support less experienced team members.
• Strong experience with Kotlin.
• Strong experience with Java.
• Experience in native Android application development using Android Studio and Android SDK.
• Knowledge of Android platform (minimum version 9.0).
• Experience with Azure cloud environment.
• Understanding of mobile application requirements such as offline mode, camera integration, and barcode scanning.
• Good command of English (minimum B2 level).

Nice to have

• Experience with .NET.
• Experience with React.js or Next.js.
• Knowledge of PostgreSQL.
• Previous experience working on web and mobile systems integrated with backend platforms.

• Type of contract: B2B
• Rate Regular: up to 100 PLN/H net+vat
• Rate Senior: up to 130 PLN/H net+vat
