Program Manager

Iris's client, one of the Top 5 Bank in Canada is looking to hire a Program Manager for a long-term contract opportunity.

Our Client is a Canadian multinational financial services company and the largest bank in Canada by market capitalization. The bank serves over 17 million clients and has more than 89,000 employees worldwide. Bank is serving individual consumers, small and middle market businesses and large corporations with a full range of banking, investing, asset management and other financial and risk-management products and services.

Title: Program Manager

Location: Toronto, ON (Hybrid- 3 Days onsite/week)

Long term Contract

Client: Banking/Financial

Key Responsibilities

• Strategy & Delivery: Driving enterprise-wide programs, managing complex workstreams, and delivering technology/operational change.
• Leadership: Guiding cross-functional teams, managing budgets, timelines, and stakeholders.
• Risk & Change Management: Identifying, mitigating, and managing risks, alongside driving organizational change.
• Client Focus: Implementing strategies for client-centricity, product evolution, and simplified operations.
• Process Improvement: Driving continuous improvement initiatives across the end-to-end lifecycle of programs

Requirements

• Experience: 10+ years in IT/Project/Risk Management, often with large-scale banking/finance program experience.
• Education: Bachelor's degree in IT, Business, or related fields.
• Certifications: PMP, Agile, or Change Management certifications are valuable.
• Skills: Expert facilitation, problem-solving, strategic influencing, and execution.
• Must have experience working on Swift Payments related projects.
