Software Engineer

Full Stack Development:

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications.
• Build frontend applications using React and React Native.
• Develop backend services using Node.js and TypeScript (NestJS is a plus).
• Design and maintain RESTful APIs, integrating with AWS services, Redis, and databases such as MySQL and DynamoDB.
• Conduct code reviews to ensure high code quality and knowledge sharing.
• Debug and resolve software defects and performance issues.
• Implement automated testing and CI/CD pipelines to ensure system reliability.
• Produce technical documentation aligned with architectural standards.
• Continuously evaluate and adopt new technologies and best practices.

DevOps & Software Delivery:

• Design, automate, and optimize CI/CD pipelines using GitLab or equivalent tools.
• Implement automated build, test, and deployment processes across multiple environments.
• Manage application releases, including rollbacks, backups, and deployment troubleshooting.
• Drive best practices in code quality, configuration management, and deployment strategies.

Cloud Infrastructure:

• Provision, configure, and manage AWS cloud infrastructure to support applications and services.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform.
• Manage cloud networking, security groups, load balancers, and related components.
• Support Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) operations, including monitoring, observability, and disaster recovery readiness.
• Ensure systems are secure, scalable, and cost-optimized.

Collaborations:

• Participate in system architecture and technical solutioning discussions.
• Mentor junior engineers through code reviews and best-practice sharing.
• Collaborate with product managers, QA, and security teams to deliver high-quality releases

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in Software Engineering roles.
• At least 2 years of experience in DevOps or cloud infrastructure-related roles.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript, Node.js, and React / React Native.
• Hands-on experience building RESTful APIs.
• Solid experience with AWS services (Lambda, ECS/EKS, S3, API Gateway, CloudFront).
• Experience with MySQL, DynamoDB, Redis, and messaging services such as SQS or SNS.
• Strong understanding of CI/CD concepts and best practices.
• Experience with GitLab CI/CD or similar tools.
• Familiarity with Terraform, Docker, and containerization technologies.
• Good understanding of cloud networking, load balancers, and firewall concepts.
• Experience writing and integrating automated tests into delivery pipelines.
