Job Description

We are looking for an experienced AMI Water Metering Project Manager to lead end-to-end deployment of smart water metering solutions. The role involves managing AMI/MDM systems, coordinating field operations, integrating communication technologies, and ensuring successful execution of digital transformation initiatives for water utilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage AMI water metering projects including planning, scheduling, and stakeholder coordination
• Oversee deployment of smart meters, communication networks, HES, and MDMS
• Coordinate field operations such as meter installation, replacement, testing, and maintenance
• Ensure seamless system integration with existing MDM platforms, maintaining data security and compliance
• Manage procurement, vendor coordination, and performance monitoring of hardware and software
• Lead testing, deployment, and performance optimization of AMI components

Must-Have Skills

• Strong knowledge of water meter technologies (mechanical, ultrasonic, electromagnetic)
• Hands-on experience with AMI/AMR systems and MDM platforms (water domain preferred)
• Expertise in communication protocols: wM-Bus, Wired M-Bus, LoRaWAN, NB-IoT, etc.
• Understanding of meter hardware standards and specifications
• Experience in field operations coordination using mobile/geo-location tools
• Strong project management, infrastructure deployment, and digital transformation experience
