Senior Golang Engineer

We are seeking a Senior Golang Engineer to drive the development and lifecycle ownership of microservices and infrastructure applications for advanced edge systems.

This role requires deep technical expertise in Go, Kubernetes and networking, as well as a strong focus on security, reliability and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Develop microservices and applications for far edge systems using Go and Python
• Take full lifecycle ownership of applications including development, deployment, support and iteration
• Troubleshoot issues, identify root causes, automate recovery and notifications
• Automate infrastructure deployment using infrastructure as code principles
• Improve system security and implement security best practices for devices and networks
• Code infrastructure-related applications to support evolving business needs
• Evolve system hardware and software functionality to align with business objectives
• Work hands-on with computer and network equipment to ensure optimal performance

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of working experience in software engineering
• Knowledge of Go and Python for microservices development
• Expertise in Kubernetes and experience developing applications within a Kubernetes environment
• Familiarity with Bash scripting and Linux networking
• Understanding of Linux filesystems and GCP
• Proficiency in MongoDB
• Advanced knowledge of networking and network troubleshooting
• Solid knowledge of security best practices for devices and networks
• Capability to work hands-on with computer and network equipment
• English proficiency at B2 level or higher

Nice to have

• Experience with system automation tooling such as Terraform or Ansible
• Familiarity with Docker containers
• Background in secrets management and system hardening
