Description

A global leader in the railway sector is seeking to establish an infrastructure leveraging Google Cloud Platform (GCP) capabilities for Agent development. The scope includes, but is not limited to, the following tasks:

• Implementing Landing Zone architecture in GCP using Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
• Developing a data pipeline to support data migration.
• Setting up the Vertex AI ecosystem and enabling GCP Gemini Enterprise for Agentic AI implementation.
  
  
  

Requirements

Experience:

• Minimum of 6 years of experience in infrastructure creation and management.
• Minimum of 3-4 years of hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes in a production environment on GCP
  
  
  

Technical Skills:

• Proficiency with Terraform for managing GCP infrastructure.
• Strong Shell scripting skills.
• Hands-on experience with Ansible.
• Demonstrable experience setting up and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions and/or Jenkins.
• In-depth knowledge of Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services.
• Solid understanding of Google IAM and Service Accounts.
• Experience with Cloud Logging, Cloud Monitoring, and at least one third-party observability tool like Dynatrace, Datadog, or PagerDuty.
  
  
  

Soft Skills:

• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

– Certification in one or more of the following:

• GCP Certifications (e.g., Professional Cloud DevOps Engineer)
• AWS DevOps (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer – Professional)
• Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA)
• Certified Kubernetes Application Developer (CKAD)
• Terraform Associate
  
  
  

– Experience with other public cloud providers (e.g., AWS, Azure).

– Familiarity with OpenTelemetry standards.

Job responsibilities

• Infrastructure Management: Design, create, and manage cloud infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) or other cloud providers using Terraform for infrastructure as code.
• Automation: Develop and maintain automation scripts using Shell scripting and Ansible to streamline operational tasks and deployments.
• CI/CD: Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines using tools like GitHub Actions and Jenkins to automate build, test, and deployment processes.
• Version Control: Utilize GitHub for source code management and collaboration.
• Containerization: Architect, deploy, and manage containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes on GCP (e.g., GKE) or other cloud platforms.
• GCP Expertise: Manage and configure core GCP services, including Google Cloud Source, Cloud Build, and Cloud Run.
• Security & IAM: Administer Google IAM and Service Accounts to ensure secure access to resources, adhering to the principle of least privilege.
• Observability: Implement and manage monitoring and logging solutions using Cloud Logging, Cloud Monitoring, Dynatrace, Datadog, or PagerDuty.
• AI/ML Infrastructure: Provide infrastructure support for AI/ML workloads on GCP, collaborating with AI Engineering, Data Science and Machine Learning teams.
