Position: Computer & Information Systems Manager

Type: Hourly contract

Compensation: Competitive hourly rate

Location: Remote

Commitment: 10–40 hours/week

Role Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and manage end-to-end computer and information systems aligned with organizational goals.
  • Lead and mentor IT teams, driving continuous improvement and innovation.
  • Oversee system security, data integrity, and compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions and projects.
  • Evaluate and recommend technologies, platforms, and vendors to enhance system capabilities.
  • Develop and maintain IT documentation, policies, procedures, and disaster recovery plans.
  • Ensure clear, timely communication across teams, providing technical guidance and updates.

Requirements

  • Strong experience managing complex computer and information systems in medium to large organizations.
  • Solid understanding of IT infrastructure, software development lifecycle, and cybersecurity best practices.
  • Experience with IT governance, compliance, and risk management.
  • Proven leadership ability with experience managing cross-functional teams and multiple projects.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Clear and effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Comfortable working independently in a remote, distributed environment.
