Responsibilities:
- Work closely with the development team to streamline the build and deployment process for relevant application components
- Actively improve the quality, security, and maintainability of relevant application components
- Optimise, maintain and configure the build and deployment pipelines in accordance with best practices and organizational strategy
- Apply technical knowledge and experience when selecting the best solution to a problem
- Use code reviews and static code analysis to improve the quality of code and highlight vulnerabilities early in the software development lifecycle
- Work with relevant stakeholders during the change management process to ensure signoffs are obtained in a timely manner
- Work with developers and relevant stakeholders to improve the operational capabilities (logging, monitoring, etc) of our application components
- Take ownership of end-to-end delivery of tasks and projects
- Experience with Java and C# programming languages
- Experience with relational databases and SQL
- Experience with Docker and/or RedHat OpenShift
- Experience with static code analysis tools
- Experience with dependency management frameworks such as Maven, Gradle, NuGet
- Experience with continuous integration systems such as Jenkins, TeamCity, Tekton
- Experience with deployment systems such as UrbanCode Deploy, Harness
- Experience with unit testing frameworks such as Junit, Mockito, Nunit, Xunit, Moq
- Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication
- Demonstrated problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Ability to work under pressure and manage deadlines or unexpected changes in expectations or requirements
- Desirable Criteria:
Experience with Equity Derivatives
Experience using Linux/Unix systems
Familiarity with JSON and XML data formats
