As our Quality Trainee, you will become a valued member of the Tampere Production Quality team. In this role, you will work at the interface of production and engineering, supporting quality assurance and process development across two key product lines: Hybrid Power Units and Fully Electric Power Units.

This is a hands-on traineeship ideal for a technical student eager to understand how high-voltage assembly processes are controlled, monitored, and continuously improved in an industrial environment. You will gain practical experience in quality follow-up, process development, and cross-functional collaboration - while seeing the concrete impact of your work on production quality and safety.

This is a full-time, fixed-term position located in Tampere, Finland. The trainee period typically runs from May to August 2026, with exact timing agreed together with your manager.

What Are Your Key Responsibilities

  • Hybrid Straddle Carrier Power Unit Assembly (Quality Follow-up):
  • Monitor the daily assembly quality of straddhybrid power units on the production line.
  • React to quality deviations, perform initial investigations, and ensure non-conforming parts are handled correctly.
  • Conduct product audits to verify that assembly work instructions are being followed precisely.
  • Collect and visualize quality data.
  • Fully Electric Straddle Carrier Power Unit (Process Development):
  • Participate in the process development of the fully electric power unit assembly line.
  • Identify bottlenecks or quality risks in the current assembly process and propose practical improvements.
  • Assist engineers in updating assembly instructions and process failure mode analyses (FMEA).
  • Support the implementation of new testing protocols for electric components.
  • Support Control Plan Development: Assist in defining inspection points, measurement methods, and reaction plans to ensure the process remains stable.

What We Offer You

  • Rewards that truly count: A fixed monthly salary, determined by your completed study points, and an Edenred lunch benefit to support your daily well-being.
  • Safety that moves us forward: Build your career with a company rooted in safety since the 1940s. Your voice matters, and we actively support your professional growth and development.
  • People who move together: Our open and collaborative culture allows you to build valuable connections with global colleagues and clients. You’ll also have the opportunity to connect with fellow trainees through various activities and events.

What You Bring To The Role

  • Academic Background in Engineering or Supply Chain: You are currently studying toward a degree in Engineering or Supply Chain and are motivated to apply your academic knowledge in a practical, hands-on setting.
  • Early Experience & Curiosity: Previous experience from similar roles, internships, student projects, or volunteer work is an advantage - but not required. Your motivation and willingness to learn matter most.
