Job Description

Develop IIoT systems and ensure seamless integration and functionality within the Advantage+Elite monitoring platform. Oversee the installation of prototype IIoT devices and networks in industrial environments, ensuring system compatibility, stable connectivity, and efficient data collection and processing.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement IIoT devices and systems with integrated software and network interfaces.
• Create and maintain secure, reliable IIoT architectures that ensure consistent data flow between devices and cloud platforms.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams (product managers, hardware engineers, data scientists) to define system requirements and deliver complete IIoT solutions.
• Apply data‑driven AI methods—such as model selection, feature engineering, and performance tuning—to transform raw data into actionable insights.
• Conduct research and development to evaluate emerging IoT technologies, platforms, and methodologies for potential implementation.
• Test, validate, and troubleshoot IIoT systems to ensure stability, efficiency, and security.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations related to data privacy, cybersecurity, and IoT device interoperability.
• Provide technical documentation including architecture diagrams, user guides, and system specifications.
• Monitor the performance of deployed IIoT systems and implement updates or upgrades to hardware and software components.
• Stay current with trends and advancements in IoT, cloud, and edge technologies to drive innovation.
• Collaborate closely with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into functional IIoT solutions that deliver measurable value.
  
  

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Controls Engineering, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience
• 5+ years of experience in a related industry.
• Strong understanding of Azure services and cloud architecture, including their use cases and deployment patterns.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as C#, .NET, Java, Node.js, or Python, plus scripting tools like Azure CLI or PowerShell.
• Knowledge of Azure security and identity management, including RBAC and Azure Active Directory.
• Experience with data management and analytics tools such as Azure Data Factory, Kusto, or Azure Synapse Analytics.
• Familiarity with microservices architectures and containerization technologies such as Docker and Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).
