Senior Frontend Developer (React)

Role Overview

For our Automotive client, We are looking for a Senior React Developer to join a cross-functional product team responsible for building and maintaining digital services that support vehicle diagnostics, service planning, and customer operations.

In this role, you will act as a go-to technical advisor, combining strong frontend expertise with excellent communication, problem-solving skills, and a mindset that goes beyond pure development. You are passionate about technology, take ownership of outcomes, and contribute wherever needed to ensure team success.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain software applications primarily using React, with a strong focus on quality and usability.
• Collaborate closely with UX, design, and requirement stakeholders to deliver user-centric solutions.
• Recommend and influence technical solutions based on business needs, user flows, and overall system architecture.
• Lead and participate in customer-facing business solutions, including rapid proof-of-concepts (POCs).
• Deploy, operate, and maintain applications in production environments, driving continuous improvements in quality, performance, and cost efficiency.
• Take part in DevOps responsibilities, including on-call/rotation duties as scheduled within the team.
• Present and demonstrate solutions to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Contribute with a coaching mindset, both mentoring peers and being open to feedback and learning.
  
  

Required Qualifications

• Proven track record as a team player who commits to and delivers on agreed objectives.
• University degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 10 years of experience as an application developer and/or software architect.
• Senior-level expertise in React, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
• Experience with state management libraries (e.g., Redux).
• Experience working with GraphQL or similar query languages.
• Strong experience with testing frameworks such as Jest and Cypress, including test automation.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Fluent in English (spoken and written).
• Valid work permit for Sweden (if not an EU citizen).

• Fluency in Swedish.
• Experience working within the SAFe framework.
• Experience with Java.

Location

• On-site work required in Gothenburg, Sweden.
