We are looking for you, Summer Trainee, Process Analytics to join our Process Analytics, Automation & AI team in Espoo (Keilaranta) . We are a part of the Group Business Processes team, driving business process maturity and excellence across Neste, as part of the Processes, Data and IT Unit.

Your role during the summer

As a Summer Trainee, Process Analytics , you will support the team in developing and delivering process analytics solutions that help enhance our business process performance. You’ll get hands-on exposure to real business challenges and learn how process analytics is applied in an industrial and global company environment.

During the summer you will:

• Gain understanding of Neste core business processes and their business process performance management
• Get hands-on experience with process mining, seeing how it’s applied in a global industrial company
• Develop, document and maintain process performance reports and dashboards
• Provide data and reporting support with training and coaching
• Collaborating closely with analysts, IT specialists, and business stakeholders to turn process challenges into practical solutions.
  
  

The best combination to succeed in this role

• You're currently studying or recently graduated in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems, Industrial Management / Engineering, or a related field
• Familiarity with SQL and data visualization tools (like Celonis, PowerBI)
• Interest in industrial use cases like supply chain, finance, or operation
• Motivation to learn and deepen your knowledge in business process management and continual improvement, and how they drive business impact
• Excellent communication skills in English, written and verbal
• Ability to work well with both technical and business-focused colleagues
• Curious and proactive mindset, ready to take ownership of tasks

The job is located in Keilaranta, Espoo, with excellent transport connections. Currently we work regularly at least three days a week at the office to ensure seamless collaboration and sense of belonging.

The position follows the collective agreement for senior salaried employees. If you are in the early stages of your studies, the minimum starting salary is 2350 EUR. Your salary will also depend on relevant work experience and, for students, the number of completed course credits. We welcome applications from both current students and those who have graduated after 1st January 2025. Please note that you must be at least 18 years old at the start of employment. The summer job typically takes place between May 1 and September 30, 2026.
