Network Engineer (VLAN)

📌 𝗗𝗲𝘀𝗰𝗿𝗶𝗽𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻:

We are seeking a highly skilled Network Engineer to join our dynamic IT team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, maintaining, and supporting our expanding network infrastructure. You will play a crucial role in developing scalable, maintainable, and highly available network architectures that align with our business objectives and service level agreements. This position involves hands-on configuration of network hardware, troubleshooting complex connectivity issues, and performing system upgrades. A key part of your role will be participating in Network Operations Center (NOC) activities, ensuring continuous monitoring and optimization of network performance. Your expertise will be vital in providing Level 2/3 support and maintaining comprehensive technical documentation. This role requires on-site visits for new deployments and support, making you a vital component of our infrastructure's reliability and efficiency.

🎯 𝗥𝗲𝗾𝘂𝗶𝗿𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀:

▸ Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

▸ A minimum of 7 years of professional work experience in IT network engineering.

▸ Mandatory, current certifications in CCNA and CCNP.

▸ Strong, hands-on experience with routing and switching protocols including BGP, OSPF, VLAN, VRF, and MPLS.

▸ Proven expertise in configuring, deploying, and troubleshooting Cisco products such as routers, switches, WLC, ISE, and DNA Center.

▸ Proficiency with network diagnostic, monitoring, and analysis tools like SolarWinds, Cisco Prime, and Wireshark.

▸ Demonstrated experience in designing and deploying LAN, WLAN, WAN, and NAC architectures.

▸ Experience providing Level 2/3 support for complex network issues.

✨ 𝗗𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗿𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲𝘀:

▸ CCIE certification is a significant advantage.

▸ Experience with network security implementation and policy management.

▸ Prior experience working within a Network Operations Center (NOC) environment.

▸ Strong skills in creating and maintaining detailed technical documentation.

▸ Experience managing network infrastructure changes according to established management policies.
