Overview
Our client is seeking a Data Analyst to support data-driven decision-making by transforming complex datasets into clear, actionable insights. This role will partner closely with Product, Marketing, Sales, and Operations teams to analyze performance trends, optimize business processes, and support strategic initiatives. The ideal candidate is highly analytical, detail-oriented, and comfortable working with large datasets in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Collect, clean, and analyze large datasets from multiple internal and external sources to support business objectives.
- Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and visualizations that clearly communicate key performance indicators and trends to stakeholders.
- Translate business questions into analytical frameworks and data requirements.
- Perform ad hoc analyses to identify opportunities, risks, and performance gaps across functions.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to define metrics, track outcomes, and measure the impact of initiatives.
- Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity across reporting and analytics outputs.
- Document methodologies, assumptions, and definitions to promote transparency and repeatability.
- Support leadership with insights that inform strategy, prioritization, and operational improvements.
Operating Context
- Operates in a data-rich, technology-driven environment with evolving analytical needs.
- Works cross-functionally with Product, Marketing, Sales, Finance, and Operations teams.
- Manages multiple analytical requests simultaneously while meeting deadlines and quality standards.
- May operate in a remote or hybrid setting with reliance on collaboration and analytics tools.
Required Skills
- Strong experience in data analysis, reporting, and business intelligence.
- Proficiency in SQL and advanced Excel for data extraction, manipulation, and modeling.
- Experience with data visualization and BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Looker).
- Solid understanding of KPIs, metrics, and performance measurement.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
- Excellent communication skills, including the ability to present findings to non-technical stakeholders.
- High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- 3–6 years of experience in a Data Analyst or Business Analyst role.
- Experience in technology, SaaS, e-commerce, or other data-intensive industries.
- Familiarity with Python or R for data analysis and automation.
- Experience working with cloud data warehouses (e.g., Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift).
- Exposure to A/B testing, experimentation, or predictive analytics.
- Prior experience supporting product, marketing, or revenue-focused teams.

- Accuracy, reliability, and timeliness of reports and dashboards.
- Stakeholder satisfaction with the clarity and usefulness of insights delivered.
- Adoption of dashboards and analytics outputs across teams.
