About The Role

We are seeking a versatile and proactive UI/UX Designer to join our creative team. In this role, you will take ownership of the entire design process, from conducting user research and developing wireframes to crafting polished UI elements, illustrations, and establishing scalable design systems. You will work closely with the founders, product managers, and engineering teams to shape the vision and execution of our digital products. This position offers an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment and is passionate about building innovative solutions from the ground up.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate should possess a strong background in UI/UX design with a portfolio demonstrating a wide range of design projects. Proficiency in design and prototyping tools such as Sketch, Figma, Adobe XD, or similar is essential. You should have a solid understanding of user-centered design principles, interaction design, and visual design. Experience in creating and managing design systems, wireframes, and prototypes is highly desirable. A degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or related fields is preferred, along with at least 3-5 years of relevant experience in a similar role.

Responsibilities

As a UI/UX Designer at Sugary, your key responsibilities will include:

• Conducting user research and gathering insights to inform design decisions.
• Developing wireframes, prototypes, and user flows to effectively communicate ideas and solutions.
• Designing high-quality, visually appealing user interfaces that enhance user engagement and satisfaction.
• Creating and maintaining a comprehensive design system to ensure consistency across all products.
• Designing illustrations, icons, and other visual assets to enrich the user experience.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into innovative design solutions.
• Iterating on designs based on user feedback and usability testing.
