Senior UX/UI Designer

Position Context:

Within a Digital Factory environment, we are looking for a Senior UX/UI Designer to contribute to the design and evolution of both client-facing and internal digital applications. You will play a key role in shaping end-to-end user experiences, working closely with multidisciplinary product and engineering teams, and supporting the continuous maturation of design practices across delivery squads.

Key Responsibilities:

Experience & Interface Design

• Produce high-quality UX/UI deliverables including user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and detailed design specifications.
• Ensure design choices address user needs, accessibility standards, and business constraints.
• Contribute to the maintenance and evolution of a shared design system.

Collaboration with Product & Engineering Teams

• Work closely with frontend, backend, architecture, and product teams to ensure design feasibility and implementation quality.
• Provide clear design documentation, assets, and implementation guidance.
• Adapt design activities to Agile delivery models and iterative development cycles.

User Research & Validation

• Conduct user research activities such as interviews and usability testing.
• Translate research findings into personas, design improvements, and actionable UX recommendations.
• Advocate for user-centered design principles within product teams.

Design Quality, Standards & Governance

• Lead or contribute to design reviews to ensure consistency and quality.
• Support the definition and application of UX/UI standards and governance frameworks.
• Ensure compliance with accessibility guidelines (WCAG) and enterprise design requirements.

Design Operations & Enablement

• Mentor junior designers and contribute to design community initiatives.
• Improve workflows, reusable components, and design templates.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives within the Digital Factory.

Stakeholder Engagement

• Present design concepts, rationale, and outcomes to stakeholders and decision-makers.
• Facilitate co-creation workshops and alignment sessions.

Desired Profile:

Required Qualifications:

• 6 to 10 years of hands-on experience in UX/UI design roles.
• Expert-level proficiency with Figma and modern prototyping tools.
• Strong understanding of design systems and component-based UI approaches.
• Experience working in Agile, cross-functional product teams.
• Solid knowledge of accessibility standards (WCAG).
• Ability to collaborate effectively with technical teams and understand technical constraints.
• Strong communication, presentation, and facilitation skills.

Additional Assets:

• UX-related certifications (e.g. NN/g, Human Factors).
• Experience with enterprise-scale design operations.
• Familiarity with data-informed UX approaches and analytics.
• Exposure to regulated environments or B2B SaaS contexts.
