Your Crew

You will be part of an agile team located in Austria and Portugal which is responsible for development of software for satellite onboard products, like GNSS receivers. With our current generation of spaceborne GNSS receivers we are the world market leaders for high-precision and high-availability GNSS receivers. Now we are looking for embedded software engineers to develop the next generation of our receivers. We are currently working on the product platform based on new space technology. We develop new functionality for CisLunar applications and we also integrate the receiver in the spacecraft on-board computer.

Your Mission

• Formulating requirements and establishing the software design
• Coding software modules and inspecting the code written by other engineers
• Writing the technical software documents and configuring all work items in a version control system
• Implementing signal processing algorithms in software
• Designing, implementing and performing all kinds of software unit, integration and validation tests at all levels to close requirements
• Pro-actively collaborating with adjacent system, FPGA and HW development teams to develop modular and customizable solutions and product variants
• Participating in meetings with customers and subcontractors, and when necessary, managing technical issues related to this
  
  
  

Your Story

• Experience and good knowledge in embedded software development (using C)
• Familiar with software engineering methods, processes and tools for embedded software
• Education in Electrical/Software/Aerospace Engineering, B.Sc. level (or corresponding experience)
• Fluent in English
