Mobile Team Lead

Description

We are a fast-growing technology-drive, and we are looking for a Mobile Team Lead to guide multiple mobile development squads working across iOS and cross-platform technologies, while overseeing related backend services in a Google Cloud Platform environment.

This role combines hands-on senior mobile development with people leadership. You will play a key role in shaping high-impact mobile solutions, supporting team growth and performance, and contributing to technical decision-making across several initiatives. Working closely with Product and Design stakeholders, you will help define technical direction, promote engineering best practices, and support sound architectural choices.

Your Impact

As an Mobile Team Lead, you will be responsible for:

• Leadership & Coaching: Guide, mentor, and support engineers through ongoing feedback, goal setting, and professional development.
• Technical Direction: Supervise the design, development, and maintenance of iOS and Flutter applications, along with backend services on GCP, ensuring scalability, reliability, and performance.
• Engineering Excellence: Promote high development standards, including CI/CD practices, automated testing, and structured code review processes..
• Project & Team Coordination: Facilitate technical decision-making, manage parallel projects, and assist with task scoping, estimations, and prioritization.
• Innovation & Automation: Identify emerging technologies and AI-driven tools to improve development speed, automate workflows, and enhance overall efficiency.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work hand-in-hand with Product and Design teams to plan, estimate, and successfully deliver new features and products.
• Team Culture: Cultivate an inclusive, growth-oriented environment that encourages learning, collaboration, and problem-solving.

Requirements

We’re looking for a technically strong leader who thrives at the intersection of mobile engineering, cloud infrastructure, and people management:

• 7+ years of hands-on experience building and maintaining mobile applications using iOS and/or Flutter.
• 2+ years leading mobile development teams, with strong organizational and motivational skills.
• Mobile Expertise: Advanced knowledge of Swift, UIKit, SwiftUI, and solid experience with Flutter/Dart.
• Practical experience managing backend services, particularly within GCP (Google Cloud Platform) and Firebase ecosystems.
• Strong command of agile development practices, CI/CD pipelines, and enforcing high engineering standards.
• Proven ability to leverage AI tools to speed up development cycles, improve code quality, and boost team productivity.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English (advanced level).
• Proactive, analytical, and solution-focused approach to technical and organizational challenges.
