Java Software Engineer

We are looking for a Backend Engineer to join our team and contribute to the implementation of a modern cross-border payments platform within RBI Group. The role focuses on building and evolving a new payment application and rolling out key features across multiple RBI banks, with direct impact on end-customer banking services.

Your mission

• Develop, and maintain RESTful services and microservices with Java/Spring (Boot).
• Implement and operate event‑streaming pipelines (Pulsar).
• Optimize performance, reliability, and security; contribute to CI/CD and observability.
• Collaborate cross‑functionally on architecture and product delivery.

Required superpowers

• Backend experience; strong Java and Spring framework ecosystem.
• Proven REST API design, documentation, and testing.
• Hands-on with streaming platforms and event-driven architectures.
• Cloud experience (AWS/GCP/Azure); Docker/Kubernetes familiarity.
• Solid RDBMS/NoSQL knowledge; unit/integration testing.
