This position reports to

R&D Engineer

Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to contribute significantly to successful project results in technology, software, product, and/or solution development, as well as associated Intellectual Property (IP). Each day, you will act as the first point of contact in Research and Development for specific product-related issues and maintenance. You will also showcase your expertise by identifying, proposing, and implementing innovative solutions.

The work model for the role is: hybrid.

This role is contributing to the Digital Platforms & Capabilities Agile Unit in Electrification Smart Power.

You will be mainly accountable for:

  • Design and Innovate Smart Digital Energy Solutions: Conduct market research, collaborate with stakeholders to identify customer needs, and develop innovative digital energy solutions aligned with sustainability frameworks.
  • Manage and Integrate Digital Projects: Oversee the development and integration of digital platforms, participate in strategic planning to define technology roadmaps, and coordinate with development teams to ensure project milestones are met.
  • Lead Projects and Foster Innovation: Take ownership of projects from ideation to implementation, apply critical and design thinking methodologies to drive innovation, and work independently to achieve project goals.
  • Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Engage with engineers, data scientists, R&D developers, and business stakeholders, facilitate regular communication, and promote a collaborative culture to enhance team performance and project outcomes.

Qualifications For The Role

  • BSc or MSc in Energy/Electrical/Industrial Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Proven experience (3-5 years) in a related tech/business sector.
  • Sound knowledge of software development, with additional skills in machine learning and AI being valuable.
  • Strong understanding of energy systems, technology, and markets.
  • Digital mindset with a start-up approach, comfortable with ambiguity, and passionate about problem-solving and innovation.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
