About The Role

We are seeking experienced Full Stack Engineers to join our Developer Experience and Product Platform (DEeP) organization. In this role, you will be instrumental in building and maintaining scalable, reliable, and secure software services and platforms that serve thousands of Stripe employees, developers, partners, and end-users. Your work will directly influence the developer experience across Stripe’s suite of products, enabling rapid delivery of high-quality, cross-product experiences through our UI and API surfaces. This position offers the flexibility of working either remotely or from an office location, with a focus on fostering collaboration, innovation, and technical excellence. As a key member of our team, you will shape future-proof interfaces, make strategic technical decisions, and troubleshoot complex production issues, all while contributing to a culture of continuous improvement and technical mastery.

Qualifications

• 2-12+ years of industry software engineering experience (excluding internships and co-ops)
• Proficiency in one or more programming languages (language-agnostic interview process)
• Strong collaboration and communication skills
• Ability to work autonomously with a high degree of responsibility
• Interest in working across multiple technologies and stacks to solve complex problems
• Experience in building scalable, secure, and reliable platforms or services
• Familiarity with modern development practices and tools
• Desire to contribute to a fast-paced, innovative environment
  
  

Responsibilities

• Ensure the reliability, scalability, security, and extensibility of our platforms
• Design and shape intuitive, future-proof user interfaces that are easy to build with
• Make strategic tradeoffs considering business priorities, user experience, and technical sustainability
• Lead technical discussions and contribute to sound decision-making across teams
• Debug and resolve production issues across various services and levels of the technology stack
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality features and improvements
• Stay current with industry trends and incorporate best practices into our development processes
