Senior Product Manager – Network Orchestration & Process Development
6‑Month W2 Contract | Fully Remote | $70/hour+ DOE

Overview
Our Fortune 500 client is seeking a Senior Product Manager with strong experience in process development, product documentation, workflow design, and identifying automation opportunities within complex technical environments. This role is heavily focused on NPI (New Product Introduction) documentation, standardizing existing customer onboarding processes, and helping streamline the way new and existing network services are brought to customers.
This is an opportunity to join at the ground floor as the team prepares to roll out Itential as its future orchestration platform. You will help define what the onboarding workflow should look like before automation is built, enabling the organization to scale, reduce manual steps, and improve customer delivery predictability.
Key Priorities
~70% – Process Definition, Documentation & NPI Deliverables
• Meet with teams across the org and document current-state onboarding processes.
• Create standardized workflows, NPI documents, templates, and quality documents (~3-5/month).
• Define repeatable onboarding steps across a broad product catalog.
• Partner closely with Program Manager and Product/Architect teams.
• Produce product design documents, concepts, business use cases, workflows, and RACI charts.
~20% – Process Streamlining & Product Development
• Identify workflow gaps and redundancies.
• Recommend improvements to streamline onboarding.
• Support product managers in refining and launching new network products.
~10% – Automation Opportunity Identification
• Identify which onboarding tasks could be automated.
• Clarify existing automation and opportunities for future automation.
• Document automation requirements before Itential deployment.
• Collaborate with internal automation engineers as needed.
Required Experience
• Strong experience in process documentation and workflow design.
• Ability to standardize highly variable onboarding environments.
• Experience identifying automation opportunities.
• Familiarity with orchestration concepts (Itential, Ansible, etc.).
• Experience working across Product, Operations, and Engineering.
• Ability to create product design documents and business cases.
Nice-to-Have Experience
• MSP or network services background.
• Telecom exposure.
• Product management experience or engineering background.
• Experience documenting or improving customer onboarding.
• Understanding of orchestration ecosystems.

Who You’ll Work With
You’ll work with the main Program Manager, three Product Managers, two Product Architects, Operations teams, Quality/NPI teams, and internal automation engineers. You will support and augment the Product Manager for Network Orchestration.
Contract Details
• 6-month contract (T&M)
• $65–$70/hour+ DOE
• Fully remote
• Target start: Mid-February-late-March (subject to change)
